Äerdschëff

Äerdschëff was initiated by CELL – Centre for Ecological Learning Luxembourg within the framework of the strategy of rural development LEADER Atert-Wark. The project caught the attention of the local GAL (groupe d’action locale LEADER) and received initial funding. From May 2015 until April 2016, the young architect Léa Mauguin did an EVS – European Voluntary Service – within CELL in order to design the plans of Äerdschëff and constitute the steering group. Since December 2015, Atert-Lycée Redange has been supporting the project. The high school has yielded some public land for the construction of the Äerdschëff. The high school is developing the pedagogical aspect of the project with its students and creates the opportunity for the project to open up to the region. In spring 2016, the project received support from the “Administation des Bâtiments Publics” and the “Ministère du Développement durable” and the philanthropic foundation “Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte”. The Äerdschëff project was awarded the Etika prize in 2016.

Horyoh ASBL supports this unusual project for several, very different reasons. But above all because it is radically different. In addition, the Äerdschëff offers a wide range of ALTerNATIVs and opens up a lot of space for creativity. The Äerdschëff team is just as personable as the project itself and the goals they pursue. Inquisitive questions are gladly answered, helping hands are always welcome. It’s worth visiting and participating! You not only get to know interesting people, but also ideas and possibly solutions for yourself. In summer 2019 we helped build the tire wall and in 2020, together with Natur a Mënsch sàrl; Mr. Change Erpelding (Dipl.Geogr) organized and led several workshops on the construction of dry stone walls. It won’t be the last time 🙂

Äerdschëff

Le projet Äerdschëff a été initié par le CELL – Centre d’apprentissage écologique du Luxembourg dans le cadre de la stratégie de développement rural LEADER Atert-Wark. Le projet a attiré l’attention du GAL local (groupe d’action locale LEADER) et a reçu un financement de démarrage. De mai 2015 à avril 2016, la jeune architecte Léa Mauguin a effectué un SVE – Service volontaire européen – avec CELL pour concevoir les plans de l’Atert-Wark et former le groupe de pilotage. Depuis décembre 2015, l’Atert-Lycée Redange soutient le projet. Le lycée a mis à disposition des terrains publics pour la construction de l’Äerdschëff. Le lycée développe l’aspect éducatif du projet avec ses élèves et crée la possibilité d’ouvrir le projet à la région. Au printemps 2016, le projet a reçu le soutien de l’Administation des Bâtiments Publics et du Ministère du Développement durable ainsi que de la fondation philanthropique „Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte“. Le projet Äerdschëff a été récompensé par le prix Etika en 2016.

Horyoh ASBL soutient ce projet inhabituel pour plusieurs raisons très différentes. Mais surtout parce qu’il est radicalement différent. De plus, l’Äerdschëff propose une large gamme d’ALTerNATIVs et ouvre beaucoup d’espace à la créativité. L’équipe d’Äerdschëff est tout aussi sympathique que le projet lui-même et les objectifs qu’elle poursuit. Nous répondons volontiers aux questions les plus pointues, et les coups de main sont toujours les bienvenus. Cela vaut la peine de visiter et de participer ! Vous ne faites pas seulement la connaissance de personnes intéressantes, mais aussi d’idées et éventuellement de solutions pour vous-même. En été 2019, nous avons participé à la construction du mur de pneus et en 2020, avec Natur a Mënsch sàrl ; M. Change Erpelding (Dipl.Geogr) a organisé et dirigé plusieurs ateliers sur la construction de murs en pierre sèche. Ce ne sera pas la dernière fois 🙂

Das Projekt Äerdschëff wurde von CELL – Centre for Ecological Learning Luxembourg im Rahmen der Strategie der ländlichen Entwicklung LEADER Atert-Wark initiiert. Das Projekt erregte die Aufmerksamkeit der lokalen GAL (groupe d’action locale LEADER) und erhielt eine Anschubfinanzierung. Von Mai 2015 bis April 2016 absolvierte die junge Architektin Léa Mauguin einen EFD – Europäischen Freiwilligendienst – bei CELL, um die Pläne vom Äerdschëff zu entwerfen und die Lenkungsgruppe zu bilden. Seit Dezember 2015 unterstützt das Atert-Lycée Redange das Projekt. Das Gymnasium hat einige öffentliche Grundstücke für den Bau des Äerdschëffs zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Gymnasium entwickelt mit seinen Schülern den pädagogischen Aspekt des Projekts und schafft die Möglichkeit, das Projekt für die Region zu öffnen. Im Frühjahr 2016 erhielt das Projekt Unterstützung von der „Administation des Bâtiments Publics“ und dem „Ministère du Développement durable“ sowie der philanthropischen Stiftung „Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte“. Das Projekt Äerdschëff wurde 2016 mit dem Etika-Preis ausgezeichnet.

Horyoh ASBL unterstützt dieses ungewöhnliche Projekt aus mehreren, sehr unterschiedlichen Gründen. Aber vor allem, weil es radikal anders ist. Außerdem bietet das Äerdschëff ein breites Spektrum an ALTerNATIVs und eröffnet viel Raum für Kreativität. Das Äerdschëff-Team ist so sympathisch wie das Projekt selbst und die Ziele, die es verfolgt. Wissbegierige Fragen werden gerne beantwortet, helfende Hände sind immer willkommen. Es lohnt sich, vorbeizuschauen und mitzumachen! Man lernt nicht nur interessante Menschen kennen, sondern auch Ideen und eventuell Lösungen für sich selbst. Im Sommer 2019 halfen wir beim Bau der Reifenmauer und im Jahr 2020 werden wir gemeinsam mit der Firma Natur a Mënsch sàrl; Herr Dipl.Geogr. Change Erpelding mehrere Workshops zum Bau von Trockenmauern organisieren und durchführen. Es wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein 🙂 .
